Submit a Thread

Begin with one specific good thing. Then follow it to its origin.

This isn't a list of five unrelated things you're grateful for — it's one thread. Each thank-you is for the source of the one before it. Five is a useful shape, not a test: on this site, a thread may run from three statements to ten.

More than one source of gratitude may lie behind any thank-you statement. Follow one for now — you can always submit another thread later that retraces the same steps and branches differently.

Prompts are provided to help you get started, but you can write whatever you like. You can also add an optional title, location, or tags to your thread before submitting it.
